Furthermore, the Assistant Director of Disability Services will be responsible for the supervision and hands‑on training of program staff. Responsibilities To assist the Director of Disability Services with the overseeing and development of day‑to‑day operations of all programs. To facilitate hands on training on service delivery expectations for staff working with children with disabilities To collaborate with the Director of Disabilities services on the development and monitoring of program billing, service plans, schedules and specialized activities for children with disabilities To complete monthly note reports for all OPWDD based programs To attend and assist with the tracking of life plan meetings for OPWDD base participant To implement a vision for excellence to include best practices in services for individuals with disabilities To maintain regular, consistent, and meaningful communication with parents, staff and colleagues. To collaborate with managerial, administrative and direct service staff to promote agency goals and standards that include involvement with agency-wide activities and interdepartmental projects.
