Job Summary:

At Onyx Care of Natchitoches, we are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN Unit Manager to join our team! As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit and ensuring that our patients receive exceptional post-acute rehabilitation care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with our patient-centered approach

• Develop and implement effective staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and staff development

• Conduct daily rounds, providing real-time feedback to staff and addressing concerns or issues promptly

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patient needs are met and exceeded

• Monitor and address any quality of care concerns, and implement corrective actions as necessary

• Participate in staff education and training programs, ensuring that staff is knowledgeable and competent in delivering evidence-based care

• Manage and analyze data to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that our unit operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in the state of Louisiana

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, patients, and families

• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and reducing costs

• Strong understanding of regulations and compliance standards
