RN Charge Nurse - Urology Clinic - Full-time Days

Job Summary The Charge Nurse will be responsible and accountable for organizing, directing, and evaluating the overall nursing quality of care rendered in the Ambulatory Care Specialty clinics. The Charge Nurse will oversee the non‑licensed and licensed clinical support staff to ensure accountability using nursing protocols to guarantee the safety and quality of care for every patient assigned to the clinic. Under the direction of clinic leadership, the Charge Nurse works to enhance throughput while enforcing safety management programs that include the observance of universal precautions, prevention of workplace injuries, and other infection control policies and procedures. The Charge Nurse also conducts non‑surgical in‑office procedures/services and other duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Georgia 2 – 3 years of nursing experience Minimum of 1 year of charge role and/or supervisory experience Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of employment Preferred Qualifications Professional nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting Experience in Specialty Care Areas 2 or more years of supervisory experience Proficient with EMR systems such as EPIC Proficiency in Microsoft Office Core Competencies Patient‑Centered Care – Demonstrates a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care that prioritizes the well‑being and satisfaction of patients and their families.
