In his later years, Dr. Coriden developed dementia and other health issues, and when it became obvious that he could not live by himself, Darby and Roger moved him into their family's home and cared for him for seven years. Caring for an elderly relative with dementia is never easy, and Roger and Darby had to learn by trial and error. Nevertheless, it was an uplifting, positive experience.
