The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting MuleSoft integrations while working closely with Salesforce and enterprise systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Independently designs, develops, tests, and maintains complex software components and services addressing business and user requirements.2. Implements advanced features and enhancements using established coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.3. Leads code reviews and provides constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.4. Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams to plan and execute technical initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.5. Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves complex software defects and production issues, applying root-cause analysis and corrective actions.6. Participates actively in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and support.7. Applies secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational guidelines.8. Mentors and supports junior engineers to foster technical growth and adherence to best practices.9. Utilizes and contributes to existing frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance application development across relevant technology domains.QualificationsRequired QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.2. In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint PlatformBuild and support integrations between Salesforce and other applicationsImplement DataWeave transformations, error handling, and loggingDevelop reusable MuleSoft components and shared servicesParticipate in requirement analysis, design discussions, and sprint planningPerform unit testing and support integration testing effortsTroubleshoot and resolve integration defects and performance issuesFollow established development standards and MuleSoft best practicesMaintain technical documentation for Mule flows and integrationsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong 5-6 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft developmentExperience integrating Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs and Bulk APIProficiency in DataWeave, RAML, and API developmentUnderstanding of microservices and cloud-based integrationsFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps processesGood analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working in Agile/Scrum teamsPreferred QualificationsMuleSoft Developer Certification (preferred)Salesforce certifications are a plusExperience in enterprise-level integration environmentsGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
