TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Waterville, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 35 per week Shift: 7 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Waterville, ME. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. Responsibilities Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments. Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create individualized treatment and therapy plans. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes. Report progress to appropriate parties (family members, teachers, medical professionals). Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged). Current BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification; licensure in the state of Maine. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
