Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years acute care experience License: Compact or State RN License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: - Must have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios - Must be comfortable floating to other units as required based on facility needs Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry. The role requires working night shifts on a 3x12 schedule. Candidates will be caring for patients with both acute and chronic medical diagnoses. Floating between units may be required based on the needs of the facility. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:6 during the night shift. Candidates should have experience in a medical acute care setting. The nurse will be responsible for including various procedures such as telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and wound care. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. A maximum of 10 requested time off days during the contract period will be permitted. Approved time off is not allowed during designated peak periods. Successful candidates must fulfill all facility-specific training and procedures upon hire.
