Lab Technician I

Pride Health / Russell Tobin is partnering with a pharmaceutical and plasmapheresis companyto identify a Lab Technicianfor an opportunity near Knoxville, TN. Pay Rate Range: $21 - $25/hr depending on experience Shift: 2nd shift and 3rd shift available Responsibilities: Perform and troubleshoot laboratory testing, including donor suitability and other required assays. Conduct routine manual and automated testing; analyze results against established controls. Complete QC, maintenance, calibration, and documentation per SOPs and cGMP/regulatory standards. Operate laboratory instruments and equipment; troubleshoot issues and report unresolved problems. Maintain accurate laboratory records and a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support laboratory operations. Follow all EHS and safety requirements, including proper PPE use. Support cross-training and perform other assigned duties. Requirements: Associate degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s preferred. Intermediate to strong computer skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills. MLT or MT licensure in Tennessee preferred, but not required. Working Conditions: Fast-paced laboratory environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, reach, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. May be exposed to chemicals, temperature extremes, and bloodborne pathogens. Overtime/extended hours may be required based on operational needs. PPE required; cell phone use is not permitted inside the lab.
