We are a reputable nursing home facility in Pennsylvania dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Manager to join our team and help us uphold our commitment to excellence in resident care.

 

Position Overview:

As the Unit Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the nursing unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for managing nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

- Supervise nursing staff and oversee day-to-day operations of the nursing unit.

- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

- Monitor resident health status and coordinate medical care as needed.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice.

- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs and provide support to nursing staff.

- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

- Serve as a resource for staff, residents, and families regarding clinical issues and nursing best practices.

 

Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.

- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in geriatric nursing care.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
