This position can be offered asa hybrid position to the right candidate pending interview. In this role yourjob will be to help operate and secure our hybrid environment across twophysical locations and Azure. This is a hands-on role focused on reliability,security, and network design-especially network segmentation and control implementationaligned with SOC 2 Type II expectations.

Infrastructure & Systems Support (core)
- Handle escalated (Tier 3) tickets from the service desk: AD account changes, GPO troubleshooting, permissions issues, shared resource problems
- Perform routine Windows Server maintenance: patching, health checks, and scheduled reboots during approved change windows
- Assist with VMware ESXi/vSphere operations under senior guidance (VM provisioning from templates, snapshot lifecycle, capacity monitoring)
- Monitor Nimble storage health, alerts, and capacity; escalate anomalies with clear context
- Execute and verify backup jobs; participate in scheduled restore tests
- Respond to monitoring alerts - resolve what you can, escalate the rest with good notes
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration and/or network engineering ina Windows/VMware environment
• Proven experience designing and implementing network segmentation in a businessenvironment
• Experience operating security controls in a compliance-driven organization (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc. - SOC 2 a strong plus)
• Technical Skills (strongly preferred)
• Azurenetworking (VNets, NSGs, UDRs, VPN gateways, private endpoints)
• SonicWalladministration (policies, NAT, VPNs, security services)
• Routing/switching fundamentals and VLAN/subnet design
• Network segmentation implementation (ACLs, firewall zoning, micro-segmentationconcepts, tiered network models)
• VMware ESXi/vSphere administration
• Nimble storage (or comparable SAN/NAS experience)
• Windows Server and Active Directory (AD DS/DNS/DHCP/GPO)
• Centralized logging/monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Sentinel, etc.)
• Endpoint/device management (Intune) and security tools (Defender, EDR)
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python) for operational tasks
