APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Monroe, MI looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their already amazing team.  Their primary responsibility will be to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment to maximize production uptime while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.  Keep reading for more details!

  What your day will look like:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. 
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems. 
• Diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. 
• Complete equipment inspections and preventative maintenance according to schedule. 
• Install, repair, and replace machine components as needed. 
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate repair status with production teams. 
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment. 
• Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required. 
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. 
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus. 
• Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, or automated production equipment. 
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is preferred.
