Electrical Assembler

Job Title: Electrical Assembler Location: Farmingdale, NY Pay Rate: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Enjoy an early start to your weekend!)
- Perform precise hand soldering on printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies following technical diagrams and schematics.
- Assemble electrical components, wire harnesses, and sub-assemblies.
- Identify basic electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc.) and recognize board layouts.
- Conduct visual inspections of solder joints and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, wire strippers, and soldering irons safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Soldering Skills: MUST have experience with J-STD hand soldering standards.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electrical assembly practices.
- Industry Background: Open to any manufacturing background (Aerospace, Medical Device, Automotive, Commercial Electronics, etc.).
- Certifications: An active or previous IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001) is a strong plus!
- High attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
