Location: Onsite in Valley City, Ohio
Salary: $80,000 (with 10-15% annual bonus)
Shift: Either 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Ohio. This is a critical onsite role responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating schedules and product distribution, supporting sales activities, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the customer lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is confident, patient, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction and operational accuracy are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns regarding orders, deliveries, and service issues.
• Provide prompt, professional, and accurate customer support.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Scheduling & Coordination

• Coordinate planner scheduling activities and support production and delivery timelines.
• Determine where products and parts need to be distributed based on customer and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels to support customer demand.
• Estimate delivery dates based on production schedules and inventory availability.

Sales Support & Data Management

• Support inbound sales opportunities and help address customer questions and objections.
• Enter and maintain customer and sales data within internal systems.
• Prepare reports documenting business transactions and customer activity.
• Gather and analyze sales data from CRM systems, sales reports, and other sources.
• Identify sales trends and assist with forecasting and reporting activities.

Inventory & Product Management

• Track and manage SKU-related information.
• Work with inventory and product data to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Support coordination between sales, operations, and customer service teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated patience and professionalism when working with customers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with business systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
