Job Title

ED Boarder RN - Day/Night Rotating

Location

Boston, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotating Shift | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ED boarder patients across multiple care areas, including hallway and bay settings
• Navigate several different care areas to retrieve patients, medications, and supplies as needed
• Manage a fast-paced, high-turnover patient care environment with frequent activity and competing priorities
• Deliver safe, quality care in a non-traditional inpatient setting with variable patient placement

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced emergency department environment
• Comfort working in non-traditional care settings, including hallway patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department nursing
• Experience managing high patient turnover and variable acuity levels
