Major Responsibilities

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology or RCIS graduate from a Cardiovascular Interventional Training Program

Certification / License

ARRT certification in Radiology or RCIS registry required

BLS required

Conditions

Requires standing and walking while wearing 10 to 15-pound lead radiation protection aprons. Exposure to radiation,




secretions




and blood. Confined working area. Normal vision, manual dexterity and good eye and hand coordination

during procedures.

1 year in diagnostic and 1 year in Interventional Radiology preferred.
