Fabrication Helper

Job Title Fabrication Helper Department Fabrication Reports To AFP Supervisor Approved By Patrick Fleming Summary Assist in the Fabrication Department where/when help is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow instructions from fabricators or Supervisor, working from blueprints, sketches, written and/or verbal instructions. Use of basic hand tools including routers, sanders, jig saws, but not including larger equipment such as table saws, joiners, and chop saw. Plastic welding limited to non-critical components as determined by Supervisor. Fit and assemble parts into completed assembly. Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly. Confer with Fabricator or Supervisor to resolve any assembly problems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and depth perception. Comments On the job training position.
