About the Team Since 1921, Barron's has delivered daily financial information and expert analysis to a broad audience of business leaders, financial advisors, and investors. About the Role We are seeking a fast, accurate reporter and writer who can provide insights into the biggest stories of the day, with a focus on U.S. equities. The reporter should write timely analysis and engaging angles for Barron's readers, while avoiding click‑bait. The reporter will also create in‑depth features and analytical pieces. You Will: Generate quick angles and strong ideas off the news and meet urgent deadlines. Familiarity with corporate balance sheets, financial valuations, and investing principles. Experience writing earnings reports, market commentary, and newsletter posts. Familiarity with U.S. markets and companies. You Have: At least one year of experience as a reporter at a national or trade business news publication. Collaborative, diplomatic approach and confidence in making fast, well‑thought‑out decisions. Knowledge of SEO best practices and a knack for writing snappy headlines and ledes. Role involves an early start and is office‑based at least 3 days a week. Clean, accurate deadline writer.
