Program and Project Manager As a program and project management specialist, you will manage the project from concept to completion, ensuring it remains on track and within resource constraints. You will lead organizational programs, review contracts, conduct cost accounting, and support tactical planning using Microsoft Project along with regular interactions with subject matter experts, schedulers, customers, and project analysts. The role requires strong communication skills to keep stakeholders informed and to ensure program goals and quality standards are met. You will work with the United States Air Force on advanced aerospace testing, modernization of infrastructure, and digital transformation to achieve program goals while improving warfighter capabilities. Responsibilities Develop and deliver hardware-based solutions in a program or project management role. Use Microsoft Project to build and manage project deliverables. Write technical proposals and manage delivery to a contract. Function independently as a self‑starter and manage work efficiently. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget across all project elements. Identify, manage, and communicate project risks to senior leadership. Obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Qualifications Experience using Microsoft Project. Experience writing technical proposals. Experience managing delivery to a contract. Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget. Ability to identify, manage, and communicate project risks. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred; Master’s degree a plus). Nice if you have 2+ years of experience using EVMS to manage project budgets and schedules. Experience managing research and development programs. Experience managing programs to design and deliver integrated hardware and software systems. Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery to a set of requirements. Experience using the Agile framework and the Sprint or Scrum approach to project management. Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD design software. Excellent problem‑resolution and communication skills. Project Management Professional Certification. Compensation Salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The posted range reflects the typical pay for this position; total compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors. Posting will close 90 days from the posting date.
