Float Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple clinical sites in the Franklin, Wisconsin area. The role involves working with diverse patient populations and offers opportunities for skill development within a diagnostic laboratory network.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing information
- Travel to additional clinical sites as needed and provide patient customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- At least 21 years old
Compensation: $2.00/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement; quarterly performance bonus eligible
