Preferred Roofing is hiring a motivated, results-driven Roofing Sales Representative to grow our residential and commercial roofing business throughout Orange County.

We have more company-generated leads than our current sales team can keep up with—and we're looking for the right salesperson to help us capitalize on the opportunity.

You'll step into an environment with a strong flow of inbound opportunities while also having the ability to increase your earning potential through referrals, networking, door-to-door prospecting, and relationship building.

If you have experience in roofing sales, home improvement sales, solar sales, construction sales, outside sales, or in-home sales, we want to hear from you. Previous roofing experience is preferred but not required. Roofing and inspection training will be provided.

What You'll Do

As a Roofing Sales Representative, you'll manage the customer relationship from initial contact through contract signing.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Respond quickly and professionally to company-generated roofing leads
• Generate additional residential and commercial roofing opportunities through door-to-door sales, referrals, networking, and relationship building
• Conduct on-site residential and commercial roof inspections with training and support
• Identify roofing concerns and clearly communicate inspection findings to customers
• Educate homeowners, property managers, landlords, and HOAs on roofing systems, materials, warranties, and financing options
• Prepare and present professional roofing estimates and sales proposals
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process
• Address customer questions and objections and confidently ask for the sale
• Develop relationships with homeowners, property managers, landlords, HOAs, and referral partners
• Maintain an active roofing sales pipeline
• Accurately document leads, appointments, inspections, proposals, follow-ups, and closed sales in the CRM
• Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience preferred
• Roofing, home improvement, solar, construction, HVAC, windows, exterior remodeling, or other in-home sales experience strongly preferred
• Outside sales and/or door-to-door sales experience is a plus
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to consistently follow up with prospects and close business
• Comfortable generating additional opportunities through prospecting and networking
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
• Coachable and willing to learn roofing systems, materials, inspections, warranties, and financing
• Comfortable using CRM, proposal, and sales technology
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to attend occasional evening or weekend customer appointments as needed

What Success Looks Like

During your first 90 days, you'll learn Preferred Roofing's products, inspection process, roofing systems, warranties, financing options, CRM, proposal tools, and sales process.

You'll shadow experienced team members, participate in roof inspections, learn how to identify common roofing concerns, and develop the ability to confidently present roofing solutions to homeowners and commercial property decision-makers.

As you progress, you'll independently conduct inspections, prepare and present proposals, manage company-generated opportunities, build your own pipeline, consistently follow up with prospects, and close residential and commercial roofing projects.

Performance will be measured through sales activity, including qualified opportunities generated, roof inspections completed, proposals delivered, follow-up activity, close rate, and roofing revenue generated.
