Registered Nurse - Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, and Ortho

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience to provide high-quality care in an acute care hospital setting. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho specialties.
• Assess patient needs, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho.
• Valid RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
