Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Stamford, CT working in an outpatient clinic. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires clinical reasoning to progress patients toward functional goals and discharge. You will participate in student training as assigned, uphold professional standards and organizational core values, and follow safety and compliance policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable treatment goals, and document care in a timely manner in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services and to participate in student education when assigned.
• Commitment to following state practice act, maintaining licensure and completing required continuing education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with functional outcome measurement, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
