- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to maximize value for the company.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies as needed to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Analyze market trends and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with sales and marketing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
The Successful Applicant A successful Buyer should have:
- Experience with procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving cost savings and value.
- Familiarity with inventory management and demand forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement and inventory management software.
- Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
