About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Operations Associate to support the Finance and Compliance functions at MSN . This role is vital in ensuring smooth financial operations—from managing event payouts and processing payments to coordinating with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily finance operations, including Stripe payments, event host payouts, refunds, and managing any Stripe holds.
• Maintain and regularly update the payment and revenue tracker using Google Sheets.
• Assist with compliance filings by gathering and organizing transaction data, financial summaries, and relevant reports.
• Coordinate with Operations and Legal teams to ensure partner and vendor payment approvals are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and deliver weekly payout and expense reports for the COO and Finance Lead.
• Monitor transactions for discrepancies or failures, flagging issues promptly and assisting with resolution.
• Contribute to setting up, improving, and documenting finance workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance operations, fintech, startup, or platform-based roles.
• Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation tracking).
• Familiarity with Stripe Dashboard or similar payment systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Proactive communicator with strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
