Senior Accountant

Overview: FiberLight, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting for a multi-state fiber networking company backed by a global private equity firm. This high-impact role offers cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to strengthen accounting operations in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Support month-end close and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Revenue recognition accounting (subscription, construction, and deferred revenue) Construction/project accounting Lease accounting and record keeping. Accounting for debt Accounting for operating expenses, including compensation plans (e.g. commissions) Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations. Support audits and maintain internal control documentation. Collaborate with FP&A, IT, and operations to complete responsibilities and improve processes. Contribute to special projects driven by evolving business needs. Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong technical accounting skills. Familiarity with modern accounting systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications: CPA license (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and 842 Public accounting or audit experience Experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce Ability to prioritize, multitask, work independently, and deliver results in a dynamic environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
