Role Summary and Impact As a Manager in Campaign Operations, you are the primary operator of our AI-led media delivery model, acting as the heartbeat of operational precision for your PA team. You balance technological speed with human accuracy, oversee and improve both manual and automated outputs, and coordinate across the PA team to ensure flawless campaign setup, up-to-date financials, and consistently exceeded client expectations. Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day management of AI-driven workflows and automation tools (e.g., WPP Open, Wrike) as the primary operator for the Media (AI-led) delivery model. Manage day-to-day campaign operations, workflow coordination, and regional project delivery to keep cross-discipline teams on track. Identify flaws in automated outputs and propose creative technical solutions to optimize pod performance and improve efficiency. Serve as the center of influence for the PA, understanding the roles of MFG disciplines to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded. Support early stages of campaign briefing and media plan development by ensuring operational prerequisites (e.g., product codes, MRFIDs, budgets, audience definitions) are in place for campaign kickoff. Monitor and track out-of-scope or ad-hoc tasks within the Scope Creep tracker to ensure operational transparency. Collaborate with media planning to build campaign timelines and ensure deliverables/milestones are met or communicated with rationale for delays. Work with discipline leads to ensure PA onboarding is in place and assist in offboarding team members. Maintain real-time accuracy in project trackers and documents reflecting campaign changes. Identify automation opportunities to improve ways of working for the PA and support efficiency tracking. Lead as the go-to resource for the internal finance team on end-to-end campaign financial processes, with support from Planning and Activation. Skills and Experience 2–3 years of experience at a digital media agency. Relevant experience in digital media and how digital innovation drives change. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently when needed. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to think on your feet. Strong interest in AI/automation and ability to navigate new technologies, drive implementation and change management. Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple publisher conversations simultaneously.
