Production Assembler II Experienced working with fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations using hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Assembles fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications Ability to work on precise and complicated assemblies. May assist less experienced team members with knowledge and expertise. Assemble, inspect, document and test simple and complex assemblies. Operates most production machines, such as pneumatic riveter, spot welder, arbor press, punch press, break press and similar, to perform fastening or forming operations. Able to perform multiple tasks at several workstations as production needs require. Provides some operation and process training. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to effectively read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. Ability to effectively understand and complete assigned paperwork and shop travelers. Ability to effectively understand internal procedures and policies. Ability to follow through on verbal, written or diagram instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
