Staff AccountantOur client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team supporting plant operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional looking to continue developing their career while gaining exposure to cost accounting, inventory, month-end close, financial analysis, and plant-level operations.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportingSupport inventory accounting, cycle counts, and cost analysis initiativesAnalyze operating costs and assist with variance reportingPrepare account reconciliations and maintain supporting schedulesAssist with fixed asset and equipment tracking activitiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis effortsParticipate in internal control processes and identify opportunities for process improvementsCollaborate with operations leadership to support inventory, production, and capital expenditure initiativesAssist with special projects and continuous improvement efforts as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environmentStrong general ledger and month-end close experienceUnderstanding of financial statements and cost accounting conceptsProficiency with Excel and ERP systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsSelf-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow professionallyAdditional InformationHybrid schedule with flexibilityBonus eligible positionCollaborative team environment with opportunities for increased responsibility and advancementIdeal opportunity for an accounting professional seeking long-term career growth within a stable and growing organization.
