Retail Team Leader

Retail Team Leader (Key Holder) Location: 7389 Jefferson Blvd, Louisville, KY 40219 Pay: $18+/hour starting wage (based on experience) Work/Life balance: Retail schedule. Store Hours: Monday to Saturday 7AM - 7PM and Sunday 9AM - 6PM. Responsibilities Opening and closing the store Completing daily store operations and tasks for the day Unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store Maintaining merchandise: product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, and ensuring product quality Providing exceptional customer service – building relationships, problem solving, and building sales Cash handling – bank deposits, giving change for cashiers, setting and counting down registers Helping to build and train the team; assisting in supervising sales associates in their assigned duties Performing additional duties as needed Qualifications 1–2 years of retail experience with progressively increasing responsibility Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform frequent lifting above shoulder height Work flexible full‑time schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays Ability to safely operate power equipment such as slicing equipment, walkie lifts, and forklifts where applicable Minimum age 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Pass pre‑employment checks: drug screen and criminal background check Basic computer skills Benefits Healthcare benefits available first day 401(k) retirement plan with company match, no waiting period Company profit‑sharing after 90 days of employment Paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter Work‑life balance with retail schedule Immediate retirement savings plan EEO Statement Equal Employment Opportunity is a matter of policy at Gordon Food Service, Inc. and we are committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
