The RN provides perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment and PACU recovery, ensuring patient safety, proper documentation, and smooth surgical flow from admission to discharge. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-op and PACU patient care Perform assessments (vitals, ECG, glucometer, pregnancy tests) Verify patient identity, consent, and surgical readiness Monitor recovery and manage airways Document care and ensure compliance with protocols Assist with patient transfer and discharge education Respond to emergencies and support life‑saving care Required Qualifications Active Washington RN License Graduate of accredited nursing program (ASN or higher) BLS (AHA) required ACLS within 3 months of hire 1+ year RN experience (PACU, perioperative, ER, or ICU) Knowledge of AORN standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
