Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
This position offers flexibility based on scheduled case start times. The role requires participation in "call" shifts.
Unit Information
The Endoscopy unit consists of:
- Number of Rooms: 3 Endoscopy Rooms
- Staffing: 12 team members, including:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 3 RN Circulators, 3 Endo Techs, 1 SPD, 2 Pre-op RNs, 2 PACU RNs
- Night Shift: None
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 (1 RN and 1 Endo Tech for each Endoscopy room)
- Type of Equipment: Olympus Scopes and EndoSoft (transitioning to Provation)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): MediTech
Qualifications
Must have: Candidates without the following skills will not be considered:
- Endoscopy Knowledge
Preferred or Nice to have: Candidates with the following skills will be prioritized:
- Team Player
- Good Communication Skills
Typical Procedures Performed
- Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy

Additional Information
The Endoscopy unit boasts a cohesive team of experienced techs and nurses who have worked together for several years. New colleagues are welcomed and will find a supportive environment. Many of the physicians have been utilizing the services of this unit for over 20 years.
