Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)

Work Location: Fairview Hospital, Berkshire Health Systems, MA

Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum/Mother-Baby

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years current L&D experience
• Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience required

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Nursing

Certification Requirements:

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (AHA) – Basic Life Support
• STABLE
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Agency must hold a Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License

Interview Process:

• Must provide at least two specific dates/times of availability for interview (no “anytime” responses)

Application Requirements:

• Complete work history
• Relevant skills checklist (current to 1 year)
• 1 supervisory reference (from past 2 years)
• Permanent address and own vehicle required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission (max 3 days, less preferred)

Scheduling:

• All scheduling/RTO requests must be submitted with application
• No RTO requests accepted after submission
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• On-call requirements: Yes/TBD
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 2 of the following:
• Thanksgiving (and the Friday/weekend after)
• Christmas Eve/Day (and the Friday/weekend after)
• New Year’s Eve/Day (and the Friday/weekend after)

Other Requirements:

• Candidates within 50 miles of facility not considered
• 8 hours non-billable orientation
