Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

A nonprofit services organization in Maine is seeking a new Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in South Portland.
About the Opportunity:- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
- Source, identify, and screen qualified candidates using job boards, referrals, networking, and sourcing tools
- Manage candidates through the full recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, feedback, offer negotiation, and closing
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Provide recruiting updates and insights to hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership
- Maintain candidate pipelines, recruiting data, and applicant tracking system records while supporting process improvements
- 3+ years of full-cycle Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions, levels, and business disciplines
- Proven ability to proactively source, engage, and assess talent
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Recruiting technologies
- Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach
- Experience supporting social services, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience building talent pipelines and supporting high-volume requisitions
- Consultative partnering skills with hiring managers and business leaders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
