We want to hear from you! $20,000 Sign on Bonus Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient positions. Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for patients with a variety of behavioral health disorders whose ages range from adolescent through geriatric. The RN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and collaborates with members of the team to develop and implement collaborative care plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit. Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments. Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques. Available Schedule Day: 7:00am to 3:30pm Qualifications Education: Registered Nurse, graduate of an accredited nursing program. BS or BSN preferred Experience: Minimum of three years of recent psychiatric nursing experience, preferably in psychosocial rehabilitation setting. Clinical and administrative experience in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting preferred. Possesses general knowledge of all areas of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. Age-Specific Competencies: Adult Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or maintains an RN license from a compact state. CPI/CPR certification required.
