We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help us scale to the next level.
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the SalesDraft engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, high-performing applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, Postgres, AI/ML, and AWS. You will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the SalesDraft platform, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.
- Build responsive, user-friendly frontend components with React and TypeScript.
- Design and implement scalable database schemas and queries in Postgres.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning to improve the codebase and architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the SalesDraft product.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of Postgres, including schema design and query optimization.
- A commitment to learning to use and implement AI.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications is a plus.
