Loan Officer Assistant

About the Company CMG Home Loans is looking to add a Loan Officer Assistant in North Texas. We have existing realtor and builder relationships that warrant the need for a dynamic team member. Responsibilities Order and track third-party services , including appraisal, title, homeowners insurance, VOE/VOD, tax transcripts, payoff statements, flood certifications, and other file-specific requirements. Follow up with borrowers on outstanding conditions , clearly communicating what is needed, why it is needed, and the deadline required to keep the loan moving. Review incoming documents for completeness before uploading or submitting, helping reduce avoidable underwriting delays and “back-and-forth madness.” Maintain accurate loan file updates in the LOS/CRM, including task status, borrower communication notes, condition updates, and pending order-outs. Support the Loan Officer and processing team by managing daily file flow, coordinating with vendors, and helping ensure loans stay on track from application to closing. Required Skills A minimum of 2 years of current mortgage origination experience with a proven track record of success. An active Texas NMLS license preferred but not required. Strong relationship‑building skills. Familiarity with current lending regulations. Must be self‑motivated and have an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, fluid environment. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. High integrity and confidentiality required.
