Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a related support role within school settings
• Ability to work effectively with students across all grade levels, K-12
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility in adapting to diverse classroom needs
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting inclusive educational practices
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant coursework or certifications a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group support to students under the direction of certified teachers
• Assist with classroom activities, behavioral management, and instructional materials
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to ensure student success
• Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, lunchrooms, and during transitions
• Offer encouragement and reinforcement to help students achieve academic and social goals
