Maintenance Technician III

Maintenance Technician III SHIFT: 9 AM – 5:30 PM PAY: Starting at $33.45 an hour Position Purpose Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of facility and production equipment, working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. This role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of the facility. Responsibilities Inspect machinery, checking equipment for proper performance, detecting faults and malfunctions. Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment to determine required repairs. Write technical customer reports understandable for non‑technical audiences. Perform machine maintenance, including regular upkeep, corrections, and alterations to maintain productivity. Manage time effectively: report to work on time, complete tasks by deadlines, adapt to changes with minimal supervision. Read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and basic mathematical tasks. Coordinate with team members to meet goals and adjust to important changes. Required Experience Basic computer skills. Minimum Qualifications Age 18 years or older. Ensuring complete physical safety of oneself and co‑workers at all times. Physical Requirements for Production Positions Ability to lift 50 lbs. Frequent movement: walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing. Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment. Work across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments, dust, for extended periods.
