Join our Project Management Team at our Malvern site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The Roles:As a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager, you will join our National Security business, leading the delivery of complex, high-impact projects across cyber and secure government environments. Working alongside customers, partners and technical specialists, you will help deliver innovative solutions to some of the UK's most complex challenges.Day-to-day, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of projects to agreed baselines, developing strong customer relationships, supporting business growth opportunities and contributing to the achievement of business objectives. We are open to applications from experienced project professionals at different stages of their career and will provide opportunities for development and progression within our growing business.We are also open to candidates who have worked within the National Security sector in adjacent or transferable roles and may not have held a formal Project or Programme Management position. If you have experience leading teams, running agile delivery sprints, managing operations, coordinating complex activities or engaging with customers and stakeholders, we'd be keen to hear how your skills could translate into a project management career at QinetiQ.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the successful delivery of projects and programmes within agreed scope, schedule and budgetDeveloping and maintaining positive relationships with customers, partners and suppliersManaging project performance, risks, opportunities and dependencies to achieve successful outcomesMaintaining financial forecasts and resource demand plans to support effective project deliveryApplying project governance and lifecycle management processes, including project reviews and assurance activitiesSupporting business growth through customer engagement, follow-on opportunities and bid activitiesProviding clear and effective reporting on project progress, risks and performance to key stakeholdersEssential experience:Experience delivering projects within a complex customer environmentThe ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationshipsExperience managing project risks, schedules, finances and resourcesStrong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levelsExperience working with internal teams and external partners to achieve project outcomesPrevious experience working within National SecurityQualifications:APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification, or the willingness to work towards oneCurrent relevant clearanceWe value difference and we don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn, then we would like to hear from you.We have a range of opportunities available across different experience levels and are interested in hearing from individuals at all stages of their career journey.The roles are 37 hours per week, with your time split between our Malvern site and customer locations as required.MalvernThe Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK's defence capabilities.
