This contract role is ideal for an experienced audiologist who is passionate about providing on-site services and collaborating with dedicated educational professionals. You will primarily be based at Mission Academy, with occasional travel to nearby campuses to support a coordinated cluster approach—all within a flexible, part-time schedule of 15–20 hours per week over 2 to 3 days, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Minimum 5 years of experience in school-based or equivalent settings
• Active ASHA certification (ASHA certificate holders may receive state licensure waiver)
• State license to practice audiology, and to fit/repair hearing aids
• Successful completion of relevant state examination
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive audiological assessments, hearing aid fitting, and troubleshooting primarily for a preschool through 12th grade student population
• Deliver services and testing at Mission Academy, coordinating with staff to reach districtwide students as needed
• Travel occasionally to individual campuses as determined by student needs
• Collaborate closely with Maibel Tamez and itinerant educators to ensure seamless student support
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students across the district, tailoring services to meet individual requirements and IEP goals
