What You'll Be Responsible For

• Perform echocardiography exams for age-specific populations, including Echo, Doppler, Color Flow, Stress Echo, and electrocardiograms
• Provide preliminary exam findings to cardiologists to aid in interpretation
• Interact with patients, answering questions and explaining examination procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is cleaned, disinfected, and functioning properly
• Monitor and manage supplies required for testing
• Safely move and position patients using proper body mechanics
• Collect, interpret, and analyze diagnostic data in compliance with departmental protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular program
• 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in a similar setting
• Valid ARDMS RDCS Adult Echo certification, Pediatric Echo a plus
• Current BLS certification
• Competence in performing Echo, Doppler, Color Flow, and Stress Echo
• Strong documentation, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities, workflow, and adapt to changing needs
