We're building more than infrastructure; we are building your future.The Pump Tech is an entry level role primarily responsible for assisting with water pump installation tasks and performing routine mechanical work.Essential Job AccountabilitiesEnsure adherence to all safety and quality procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environmentLift and move pipe and pump components weighing up to 50 lbs., and assist with lifting components up to 100 lbs. to support operational needsOperate and maintain service trucks, cranes, boom trucks, generators, engines, pumps, and other equipment used on water pumping sites to ensure reliable and efficient operationCollaborate with the crew and work independently to accomplish tasks to achieve project goals and deadlinesMaintain accurate records of time, materials, and other required paperwork to ensure proper documentation and accountabilityAssist in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of water pumps to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtimeLoad and unload trucks with equipment and materials to facilitate smooth logistics and operationsTransport equipment between sites and set up for jobs to ensure timely and efficient project executionCollect and accurately label water samples for analysis to ensure precise and reliable data collectionPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall team objectives and project successEducationHigh school diploma or GEDWork ExperienceConstruction site experience or similar outdoor industry experience preferredCDL license – Class A or B, is REQUIREDKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesGood written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational skillsAble to work in small teams successfullyMust be mechanically inclined, experience with hydraulic pumps a plusMust be dependable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 50lbs occasionallyMust be able to stand for 10–12-hour shiftsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a small hand tools.
