As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicle information, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site protocols and government location requirements.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and patrol activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
