Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist OpportunityFranciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to meet the growing demand for gastroenterology in Michigan City, IN. Join a busy, established practice with 5 experienced physicians and multiple advanced practice providers.Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience, an interest in Hepatology and a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.What You Can Expect:Office Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Physician Schedule: 3 - 4 half days in clinic, 3 - 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day offCall Friday to Thursday, Rotating HolidaysAverage Patient Volumes: Half Day Clinic 12 – 15, Half Day Surgery 8 – 10Practice shares 3 RN's, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-houseOutreach Required: Clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso (all within 30 minutes commute)Potential Virtual VisitsShared collaboration between physician for APP's in groupStrong mentorship available from senior physician leadershipStrong referral base: On average 75 -100 per week for general GIIn-Network Oncology Services offering full spectrum, wrap around servicesFranciscan Health Michigan City new construction and services being offeredOnsite Equipment: BRAVO, Pill Cam, FibroscanHD Motility and EndoFlip located at the SurgicenterAdvanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary interventions.Who We Are:Franciscan Health is a non-profit health care system with primary and specialty care physician groups located throughout Indiana.
