Company Description Galaxie Floor Stores is a design-focused flooring company with two locations Bloomington & Apple Valley, Minnesota, serving residential and commercial customers across the greater Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Estimator role based in Bloomington, MN. The Sales Estimator is responsible for meeting with customers in-store and on-site (customer's home) to understand project requirements, take measurements, and recommend flooring solutions. Daily tasks include preparing accurate material and labor estimates, generating formal quotes, and following up with customers to support the sales process. The role involves collaborating with the sales and installation teams to confirm scope, timelines, and pricing, as well as updating estimates when project details change. The Sales Estimator also maintains detailed records in the company’s systems, monitors project progress, and provides responsive, professional communication to ensure a smooth customer experience. Qualifications Experience with reading blueprints, taking measurements, or even flooring installation would be preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and building long‑term relationships. Sales and business development skills, including prospecting, and helping clients select solutions that align with their needs and budget. Clear verbal and written communication skills to explain estimates, timelines, and product options to customers and internal teams. Project estimation skills, including measuring spaces, interpreting plans, calculating materials and labor, and preparing accurate, detailed quotes. Basic math proficiency, attention to detail, and comfort working with spreadsheets or estimating software. Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in flooring, construction, remodeling, or a related industry is preferred but not required; willingness to learn product lines and installation methods is essential. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in construction management, design, or a related field is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
