The Company is seeking a VP, Business Development to play a pivotal role in the strategic growth and transformation of the organization. The successful candidate will be the key architect of strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, and corporate development evaluations, with a focus on turning ambitious goals into tangible, signed outcomes. This leadership position requires a professional with a strong background in business development, corporate development, or strategic partnerships, particularly within consumer technology, media, or adjacent environments. The role demands a proven track record in closing deals with measurable business outcomes, as well as the ability to lead commercial negotiations that expand the company's reach and deepen its platform value. Applicants for the VP, Business Development role at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of experience in a related commercial leadership position, with a preference for those with a background in hardware licensing, product partnerships, or connected-device ecosystems. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Revenue, to identify, structure, and close complex deals. The ideal candidate will have strong fluency in deal mechanics, the ability to operate in a fast-moving environment, and experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. Additionally, the role requires the candidate to be adept at bringing market insights back to the product team and developing partnership strategies that leverage the company's intellectual property.
