Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care setting
• Proficiency in monitoring and managing patients requiring high-acuity care
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Ability to adapt to rapid changes and manage multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, monitoring vital signs and recognizing early signs of patient deterioration
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and tailor care plans
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform advanced interventions as per protocols
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond promptly to emergencies, coordinate with physicians, and assist in procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
