As General Manager of our Dupont Road restaurant, you are responsible for building the kind of restaurant that earns that choice again and again.

That means developing strong leaders, protecting our culture, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and owning the business results that allow the restaurant to grow.

We are not looking for someone to inherit a restaurant and simply maintain it.

We want someone who wants to build something they are proud of.

We are also actively investing in the leadership structure at our Dupont Road restaurant, including adding an Assistant General Manager. Our GM will have a meaningful voice in shaping that leadership team and developing the people beside them.

With the potential to expand into additional locations, we want leaders who are excited to build something today and grow beside us as new opportunities are created.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

As General Manager of our Dupont Road restaurant, you will take ownership of the people, culture, operations, and business performance of the restaurant.

You will:

• Recruit, develop, and retain the kind of people we want to build our culture with.

• Build a strong leadership bench by developing your Assistant General Manager, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, First Assistants, and future General Managers.

• Create clear expectations and reinforce them through consistent coaching and accountability.

• Protect Culver’s standards for food quality, accuracy, cleanliness, hospitality, food safety, and brand presentation.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience that gives our community a reason to choose us again and again.

• Own scheduling, labor, inventory, food cost, maintenance, and daily restaurant execution.

• Understand the key drivers of profitability, review performance, and turn opportunities or problems into clear action plans.

• Hold leaders accountable through coaching, follow-up, and weekly manager meetings.

• Run the restaurant as if your name were on the building—and build something you’re proud of.

• Guests receive a reliable, high-quality experience regardless of which leader is working.

• Labor, food cost, inventory, cleanliness, speed, accuracy, and operational standards are actively managed.

• Problems are identified and addressed before they become emergencies.

• The Dupont Road restaurant performs consistently without ownership managing the day-to-day.

• Future leaders are being identified, developed, and given opportunities to grow.

Your job is not simply to operate the restaurant we have today.

You will work directly with ownership and receive clear expectations, honest feedback, support, and the autonomy necessary to lead the Dupont Road restaurant.

You will have a meaningful voice in building and developing your leadership team.

You will not be six layers removed from the people making decisions. We want our General Managers to have a voice in the operation and in what our organization becomes.

We will challenge you, coach you, and continue developing you as both a leader of people and a business operator.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous General Manager experience is preferred, particularly in quick-service, fast-casual, or high-volume restaurant operations.

We are also willing to consider an exceptional Assistant General Manager, First Assistant, or senior restaurant leader who has demonstrated the ability, judgment, and readiness to take full ownership of a restaurant.

Strong candidates should bring:

• Proven restaurant leadership experience.

• Experience developing managers and building strong teams.

• Strong operational judgment and problem-solving ability.

• Knowledge of labor management, food cost, inventory, scheduling, and restaurant profitability.

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.

• Dependable, flexible availability consistent with leading a restaurant.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• $65,000–$70,000 annual base salary, based on experience and leadership ability.

• 10% first-year bonus, paid at the completion of your first year and not tied to restaurant performance.

• Separate quarterly performance bonus program, with total annual earnings typically ranging from approximately $1,500–$3,400 based on restaurant results.

• Full-time salaried position averaging approximately 50 hours per week.

SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY

General Manager responsibilities require dependable and flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and opening or closing shifts based on the responsibilities of the restaurant.

The role also requires the flexibility to provide senior leadership support when unexpected staffing, operational, or guest-service challenges arise.
