Literacy Interventionist

Job Requirements Under the direction of the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Literacy Interventionist plans, implements, and assesses student learning experiences for assigned students. The role helps foster a love of learning and appropriately guides the learner to lead their learning. The Interventionist facilitates parental involvement. Positions are split between Forest Glen and Meadowbrook Elementaries, with a start date of August 17, 2026. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Licensure and certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction 1316 required; 1317 preferred. Successful completion of student teaching experience. Knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. Experience in or knowledge of personalized learning and multi-level systems of literacy support for students to experience success in the universal classroom setting. Demonstrated exemplary 21st century skills, including the ability to organize, manage, analyze, and interpret data. Knowledgeable of best practice literacy instruction and experienced in a variety of intervention options for students. Three years of successful teaching experience required; experience with intervention especially at the K‑8 levels preferred.
