Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking an experienced spectrum management professional to support federal and joint‑force radio frequency allocations, coordination, and policy participation. The role involves planning, analysis, and stakeholder engagement at national and international levels. Responsibilities Managed procurement, assignment, and protection of radio frequencies to meet telecommunications requirements. Prepared engineering data for frequency, telecommunications, and communications‑electronics matters for meetings, subcommittees, and conferences. Analyzed spectrum data and initiated actions to eliminate conflicts caused by congested radio frequency spectrum. Coordinated with federal, non‑federal, military, and foreign government officials to carry out required actions. Formulated and directed studies of customer radio frequency assignments to ensure spectrum efficiency. Attended working groups on frequency allocation plans, assignment plans, and DoD policies affecting communications‑electronics of the military services. Evaluated and analyzed Tables of Frequency Allocations, channel plans, and planned changes to the Radio Regulations at national and international telecommunications conferences to assess impact on customer communications systems and equipment. Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or graduate of the Interservice Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS), Army Spectrum Management Course, or Navy’s Fleet Spectrum Manager Course (FSM). Ten (10) or more years of experience in spectrum management related to the duties described above. Active Secret clearance as required by US Government contract, to start. Working Environment Day‑to‑day duties are performed in an office environment, sitting at a desk for prolonged periods, answering emails and taking phone calls. Occasional light duty requires lifting and carrying items not greater than 25 pounds. Travel may be required to sites and conferences; expected not to exceed one week at a time and less than 25% duty.
